October 25, 2023

On October 25, 2024, Tridge signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) to launch a “Data-Driven Supply Chain Reform Initiative.” The agreement marks a strategic partnership aimed at exploring digital transformation opportunities in Indonesian agriculture and expanding data-based export potential.

The signing ceremony was attended by Tridge CEO Hoshik Shin and senior executives from BRIN, including Chairman Laksana Tri Handoko, Deputy for Research and Utilization Hendrian, and Governance & Economic Research Chair Agus Eko Nugroho.

The MOU outlines broad areas of collaboration including data and information sharing, co-developing research agendas, organizing symposia and conferences, and publishing joint research outcomes.

“Indonesia holds vast potential in the agrifood sector,” said Tridge CEO Hoshik Shin. “Through our platform, local stakeholders will gain critical insights into the global market and unlock new opportunities. We look forward to deepening our cooperation with the Indonesian government, particularly in connecting high-quality Indonesian products with global buyers.”

Chairman of BRIN Kaksana Tri Handoko welcomed Tridge’s visit and expressed optimism that the MOU would lead to tangible next steps in shaping the future of Indonesian agriculture. Deputy Hendrian also reaffirmed BRIN’s commitment to ensuring the agreement yields practical outcomes.

This partnership marks Tridge’s first step in expanding public-sector collaborations. With its B2B SaaS solutions, Tridge aims to empower government-backed initiatives supporting smallholder farmers and agrifood SMEs.
